Now Hiring: Automotive Technician

Impulse Performance is a performance-focused automotive shop providing full-service mechanical repair and modification for sports cars and modified street vehicles. We specialize in high-quality workmanship for customers who demand reliability, performance, and attention to detail.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has solid background in automotive repair with diagnostic abilities, experience working on modified or performance-oriented vehicles, and takes pride in delivering high-quality, clean, and professional work.

 

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including performance and race-oriented builds.
• Diagnose mechanical and drivability issues using modern diagnostic tools, service information, and schematics.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and accurately identify required repairs or improvements.
• Perform work to a high standard with attention to detail and long-term reliability.
• Document repairs, parts used, and recommendations clearly and accurately.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle condition, findings, and recommended services.
• Use shop tools and specialized equipment safely and properly.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient and professional workflow.
• Stay current with evolving automotive technologies, performance parts, and repair techniques.

 

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic in a dealership or independent shop.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of automotive repair processes and vehicle systems.
• Experience working on Japanese makes and performance vehicles preferred.
• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and shop equipment.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to quality workmanship.
