The DW100 pump was engineered with a focus on low NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness), and long life. These goals have been achieved by creating a new pump motor with a computer-balanced armature, and very low amperage draw. The specially balanced armature decreases noise by 14% over the already quiet DW200 in-tank pump. Furthermore, the low amperage draw (4.2 amps at 40psi, 13.5 volts) generates less heat and significantly increases brush and commutator life. These features have culminated in a pump motor built to last a lifetime and the DW100 is accompanied by a lifetime warranty to back up the claim.
- Flow rate of 165LPH (40psi, 13.5v)
- Ethanol compatibility (e5, e10, and e25 blends)
- Composite turbine impeller for quiet and efficient operation
- Computer balanced armature for low NVH
- Limited lifetime warranty
- Application specific fitment kits
Just like it's fuel injectors, every single DeatschWerks fuel pump undergoes multi-point performance testing by a trained technician to ensure it meets DeatschWerks and customers high standards. Although it is a labor intensive process, it gives customers confidence right out of the box.
Performance testing includes:
- Flow at pressures of 40psi, 60psi, 80psi and 100psi
- Amperage draw at each pressure
- PRV activation point
- Check valve function
- Qualitative observations
DeatschWerks, LLC, founded in 2004, is a company dedicated to providing high-performance fuel system solutions. Located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, DW operates out of its own 36,000 sq. ft. facility that houses all of the company's functions including design, end-manufacturing, quality assurance, sales, marketing, and administration. DeatschWerks' roots were established by offering high flow drop-in fitment fuel injectors. In 2009 DW expanded into fuel pumps with the DW300 the first in-tank fuel pump to outflow the standard 255 LPH pump. Since then, DW has developed innovative fuel system components such as the in-line 250iL and 350iL pumps, modular surge tanks, conversion fuel rails, dual-stage fuel filters, and ethanol compatible fuel pressure regulators. Today, the DeatschWerks line-up of fuel system components includes over 500 SKUs covering Sport Compact, Modern Muscle, and Euro applications.
